Benjamin “Death Trap” Gulley is a Producer, Songwriter, Rap Artist,Label Owner and member of the East Point, Ga based Hip Hop groupT.H.U.G. M.A.F.I.A. (The Hardworking Underestimated Gentlemen MakingAll Finances In Appropriate Wayz). Gulley is a native of Rockford,Illinois a suburb outside Chicago. Gulley moved to Atlanta, Ga at age6 and resided in the SWATS (South West Atlanta)area before moving toEast Point (a suburb south west of Atlanta, made famous by Hip HopLegends: Outkast, Goodie Mob, and the Dungeon Family) at age 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gulley attended and Graduated from D.M. Therrell High School in 1997.Gulley and former co-worker turned friend Kevia “K-Steel” Stillsformed T.H.U.G. M.A.F.A. in 2001. They released their debut album,”Eternal Thuggin” off T.H.U.G. M.A.F.I.A. RECORDZ, an independentlabel founded by Gulley in 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While recording for Eternal Thuggin, Gulley became interested in musicproduction and became familiarized with the recording process andeventually produced two tracks for the album. Gulley was highlyinfluenced by Ice Cube, whom he credits for starting him to love hiphop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gulley was also influenced by producers such as: DJ Battlecat, DJQuik, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Fred Wreck, Daz Dillinger, & DJ Screw just to name a few. Gulley also have a passion for acting in which he also plans to incorporate his music onto the big screens to eventually become a house hold name.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
